The Global Director of Manufacturing Finance and Controlling position at the client, a global consumer durable goods manufacturer, is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing financial activities across the company's global manufacturing operations. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role involves managing Financial Operations and Controls, Cost Accounting, and Supply Chain FP&A to support the client's goals of operational efficiency, cost control, and cross-functional collaboration. The successful candidate will work closely with the COO and various teams within global operations to drive financial excellence and change initiatives.
Key responsibilities of the role include serving as a strategic advisor to the COO, CFO, and global operations leadership, leading financial planning and variance analysis processes, and developing systems to track productivity improvements and cost-saving efforts. The Global Director will collaborate with operations leadership to define KPIs for performance excellence, standardize cost accounting practices, and oversee the annual operating budget for global operations. Additionally, they will provide direction to finance teams, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and support professional growth within the team.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, with a CPA or MBA preferred, along with at least 10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, including leadership experience managing finance teams. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of manufacturing finance, and experience working with large ERP systems are also required.
