The client is seeking a Global Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to provide inspirational, strategic, values-led leadership as it works to create sustainable change with farming families across rural Africa. The role supports a community-led approach focused on locally led development, sustainable agriculture, gender and social inclusion, and enterprise development, aiming to strengthen food security, resilience to climate shocks, and broader community outcomes.
Reporting to the Board of Trustees, the Global CEO will lead the organisation globally to ensure delivery of its mission, long-term strategy, and organisational objectives. Responsibilities include developing and implementing strategic priorities, strengthening organisational culture, enabling locally grounded leadership and decision-making, fostering global partnerships, and ensuring the charity continues to deliver measurable impact while remaining financially sustainable and resilient.
Working closely with the Board, the Global Senior Leadership Team, and senior leaders across Africa and the UK, the Global CEO will hold overall accountability for organisational performance, governance, financial stewardship, risk management, and reputation. The role also serves as the organisation’s principal ambassador, building relationships with donors, funding partners, governments, sector leaders, and other stakeholders to enhance The client’s profile, influence, and impact.
