The Venture Scientist Fund is seeking three Managing Partners to join its founding leadership team and oversee investment strategy, portfolio construction, and the long-term development of a national AI venture capital platform. The Managing Partners will collaborate to define the investment strategy and portfolio structure, guide investment selection and governance, and establish a national platform to support the growth of AI companies in Canada. The Fund focuses on investing across Canada and supporting AI entrepreneurial scientists, with a strong presence in Montreal, Toronto, and Edmonton through institutional partnerships.Each Managing Partner will lead a specific investment engine (Foundry/Accelerator, Direct/Opportunistic Investments, Venture Studio) while also sharing responsibilities related to the investment committee, governance, fundraising, limited partner relations, and firm development. The Managing Partners will work together to drive the Fund's mission of transforming Canada's leading advantage in cutting-edge AI research into high-growth companies, with a focus on supporting AI innovation and entrepreneurship throughout the country.
