Description

the client is seeking a general manager to run the day-to-day business and develop a strategic plan for future growth. the role will focus on building sales by opening new accounts and expanding into new domestic and international markets, with the goal of maximizing the product and brand’s potential.

key responsibilities include creating and executing sales and marketing plans, overseeing operations with responsibility for p&l, budgeting, and accounting coordination, and supporting legal activities such as managing patent infringement considerations. the general manager will also manage supply chain activities across fabrication and assembly partners, inventory management, and quality control and packaging quality assurance, while ensuring smooth daily operations across marketing, sales, and customer and retail channel engagement.

the position involves managing one employee, overseeing fulfillment and relevant sales channels, and coordinating communications and reporting to ownership. ideal qualifications include prior experience in the fine wine industry and demonstrated ability to manage a small p&l, with strong customer relations, sales and sales development, and marketing experience, along with proven profit and loss responsibility, real-time problem solving, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
