The General Manager, Recreation + Parks Services reports to the Chief Administrative Officer and is a key member of the Executive Leadership Team. This role leads a team responsible for planning, developing, and delivering recreation programs, facilities, and a regional parks and trails system. The General Manager ensures alignment with the organization's Strategic Plan and advances initiatives that enhance service levels, community well-being, and environmental stewardship.In addition to providing financial stewardship and supporting long-range planning, the General Manager leads complex capital projects and land acquisitions. They also foster collaborative relationships with member municipalities, First Nations, partner agencies, and community stakeholders to advance shared priorities and deliver integrated regional services.
