The General Manager Operations will oversee the delivery of drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater services to over 54,000 connections in Palmerston North, Rangit?kei, and Horowhenua. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, this role will involve leading area management teams, integrating operations from three separate councils into one cohesive operating model, and ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies such as Taumata Arowai and Horizons Regional Council. Additionally, the General Manager Operations will be responsible for emergency preparedness and response, as well as setting health, safety, and environmental standards for all employees working on the networks.This position requires a strong focus on safety, reliability, and compliance in the delivery of essential services to the community.
