The client is seeking a General Manager to serve as the brand’s principal representative in the United States, with direct connection to headquarters abroad. The role focuses on increasing market share and visibility in the US, with primary emphasis on luxury hospitality, followed by premium retail and e-commerce. The General Manager is expected to uphold the brand’s prestigious reputation while driving growth through strong leadership and relationship management.
Key responsibilities include driving sales by retaining and expanding the customer base across luxury hospitality, premium retail, and e-commerce, leading and developing the US team, and working toward annual sales targets and broader Americas growth. The role also involves supporting marketing alignment and brand standards, engaging in brand and product advocacy, and participating in trade shows and promotional activities. Operational duties include helping develop the US operating platform, managing inventory, coordinating finance and logistics activities, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
The General Manager will provide comprehensive reporting on sales, financial performance, and market insights to the board and ensure effective use of CRM systems for sales and account management. Ideal qualifications include director-level sales experience in the luxury goods industry, preferably with exposure to premium food or beverages, along with a strong network in luxury hospitality and premium retail. The candidate should demonstrate exceptional communication and strategic account management skills, a proven record in sales management and business development, strong leadership capabilities, and proficiency in IT tools such as spreadsheets and presentation software.
