the client is seeking a high-impact General Manager to lead and grow an established business in the electromechanical and building solutions space. This is a full P&L leadership role that combines commercial growth with operational oversight, supporting overall business performance including growth, profitability, and cash. The role will focus on strengthening market position and ensuring effective collaboration across clients, partners, and relevant authorities.
Your mission is to own and drive end-to-end business results, with clear accountability for business development, operational execution, and customer outcomes. You will lead business development initiatives by leveraging professional networks and a strong understanding of specification-driven channels, including architects, engineering firms, and developers. You will oversee the full project lifecycle from sales through installation and into ongoing service, while positioning the company as a key player in the market.
The successful applicant will have a mandatory engineering background in mechanical, industrial, or electromechanical disciplines and proven experience in full P&L ownership at a General Manager, business unit director, or senior operations level. You will bring strong leadership in construction-related environments, including managing installation teams for new build or construction projects and leading after-sales service and maintenance organizations. Fluent Danish and English are required, and experience with specification selling in the construction ecosystem is expected; additional relevant experience may come from sectors such as building systems, elevators, HVAC, fire protection, automatic doors, access control, smart buildings, video monitoring, industrial automation, conveyors and logistics automation, or packaging and filling equipment.
