The General Manager Delivery role at MainPower involves leading the entire delivery engine, including capital, maintenance, major projects, vegetation, and customer-initiated works. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive and deputising as required, this position also oversees the supply chain, stores, logistics, and fleet necessary for successful delivery. Major Projects has recently been consolidated under this portfolio, allowing for a consistent project management framework across all programme and project work.This operational leadership role requires overseeing field services and depot operations across multiple locations, as well as works planning and resource optimization for both internal and contracted workforce. Safety leadership is a key aspect of the role, with responsibilities ranging from due diligence duties to personally verifying critical-risk controls in the field. The successful candidate will be expected to be an active and visible leader, focusing on improving and innovating, building empowerment and trust within the team, and ensuring accountability for delivery.
