Description

The General Manager/Chief Administrative Officer (GM/CAO) will report directly to the Board of Directors and will be responsible for developing the vision, mission, and strategic plan for the organization. They will also be tasked with effectively managing staff and fostering a team environment between OSTA staff and individual school boards. A key focus of the role will be leading the development and implementation of modern technology solutions to enhance service delivery at our client.In addition to overseeing budget estimates and administering the annual budget, the GM/CAO will work closely with member boards to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and the multi-year plan. They will serve as the primary spokesperson for our client, building positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and enhancing community relationships. The GM/CAO will also be responsible for managing legal issues, staying current on changes in the political, education, and transportation environment, and providing support to member boards on policy, procedure, and service matters.
