The client is seeking an experienced Managing Director to lead multi-site operations in the tourism and leisure sector, supporting highly specialized, experience-based activities for international visitors. The role works closely with the Board of Directors to define and execute strategic and commercial objectives aligned with revenue and profitability targets, representing the company across operational, legal, and commercial matters, and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders including authorities, financial institutions, suppliers, and partners.
The Managing Director will oversee efficient, high-quality service delivery across multiple locations, lead, motivate, and develop a multidisciplinary team, and establish and implement commercial and operational strategies to drive revenue growth, optimize costs, and enhance the customer experience. The role will monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational and financial performance, identify market trends and growth opportunities, assess potential risks, and implement strategies to support sustainable business development.
Responsibilities also include strengthening market positioning and supporting customer acquisition by collaborating with sales and marketing teams, ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards while maintaining strong relationships with relevant authorities, and overseeing financial planning and budget management in coordination with finance partners. The successful applicant will bring senior leadership experience as a Managing Director, General Manager, or similar role, strong business management knowledge across operations, finance, legal, sales, and marketing, demonstrated multi-site leadership, strategic and cost-conscious decision-making, and fluency in Spanish and English; project management experience or relevant certifications may be valued.
