Our client is looking for a General Manager for Canberra Hospital who will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and compassionate delivery of health services at the hospital. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in complex acute healthcare operations and a dedication to providing safe, high-quality, and cost-effective care. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the General Manager will lead a diverse team of executives, clinicians, and support staff, and will be responsible for strategic planning, operational and financial management, and service delivery aligned with our client's Strategic and Corporate Plans.The General Manager will also play a key role in contributing to cross-border health service agreements and major health service reforms, working closely with stakeholders such as Southern NSW Local Health District and other delivery partners. This is a pivotal leadership role that requires strong collaboration and a patient-centered approach to healthcare management.
