We are seeking a highly experienced and guest-focused General Manager to oversee a luxury resort in northern Sardinia. The candidate should have a strong background in managing high-end establishments and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. The role involves managing all aspects of the hotel's operation, ensuring profitability, maintaining quality standards, and fostering a positive work environment, with direct reporting to the CEO.
The General Manager will handle day-to-day operations across various departments, including front office, food and beverage, housekeeping, maintenance, and SPA. Key responsibilities include ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures, managing budgets, controlling expenses, and maximizing revenue to achieve financial targets. Additionally, the role involves creating a culture of exceptional guest service, addressing guest complaints efficiently, and implementing strategies to enhance guest loyalty and repeat business. Team leadership responsibilities encompass recruiting, training, and mentoring staff, conducting performance evaluations, and promoting continuous learning and development.
Applicants must have proven experience as a General Manager or Senior Hotel Manager within luxury hospitality properties, ideally in leisure and resort settings. An excellent command of English is required, with additional languages as an advantage. While a university degree is preferred, prior experience in Sardinia is considered a strong advantage. The candidate must possess budgeting and financial management expertise, recognized leadership skills, and a problem-solving mindset. Sensitivity to sustainability and local experiences, along with excellent digital skills, is essential for success in this role.
