The client is seeking a General Counsel to serve as the organizations’ corporate legal officer. The role will advise on all aspects of nonprofit law and will support the nonprofit mission through sound legal guidance on administrative and governance matters.
The General Counsel will ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations and will provide strategic legal counsel across a broad range of areas. Responsibilities include advising on risk management, employment matters, contractual issues, and ethical considerations, helping the organizations operate effectively and responsibly.
The General Counsel is expected to provide clear, timely advice and support to organizational leadership and the Boards of Directors. This role will help guide legal decision-making and strengthen the organizations’ legal posture while advancing the mission of promoting technology and policy changes toward zero-emissions outcomes.
