Description

The client is seeking a Fractional CFO to join their fast-growing professional services firm in North West England. This role will involve collaborating with senior leadership to develop and implement a financial strategy that aligns with the company's long-term vision and growth goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in private equity-backed environments and be able to provide financial guidance and support for strategic initiatives, investment priorities, and financial structuring.

Key responsibilities for the Fractional CFO include leading the preparation and delivery of financial reports, evaluating acquisition targets, overseeing post-deal integration, and identifying and mitigating financial risks. The successful candidate will also be responsible for strengthening the capabilities of the finance team, ensuring financial governance and compliance, and providing forward-thinking financial counsel to support operational decisions and long-term planning. The applicant should be available 2-3 days a week and willing to be on site at least 1 of those days.

Qualifications and experience required for this role include a strong track record in senior financial leadership roles, experience working within private equity-backed businesses, a deep understanding of financial strategy and operational finance, and exceptional leadership and communication skills. The client is open to considering candidates who can demonstrate the necessary skills to fulfill the role, regardless of PQE/salary levels.
