The Founding Executive Director (ED) position at the newly established Institute for the Advancement of Whole Health at SCU is a unique opportunity for a dynamic leader to shape the future of healthcare. The ED will be responsible for reviewing, augmenting, and extending the preliminary plan for the Institute, with the goal of advancing SCU as a leading academic institution in the Whole Health movement. Responsibilities include developing educational programs, conducting research, fundraising, overseeing clinic operations, and building partnerships to promote Whole Health principles within the academic community. While the ED will have significant influence over the Institute's direction, there are planned initiatives such as setting standards for Whole Health, expanding academic offerings, and engaging with various stakeholders to promote Whole Health practices.This is a minimum 60% position, with full-time preferred, and can be primarily remote to allow for a balance between mission-driven leadership and personal well-being. The ED will have the opportunity to build strong national partnerships, which may require occasional travel, with costs covered by the University. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Whole Health, experience in leadership roles, and a commitment to advancing healthcare through education, research, and community engagement.
