Lead a high-visibility finance role with an international life sciences organization, defining and driving the group’s global financial strategy to support sustainable growth, operational efficiency, and strong governance across international operations. Partner closely with senior leadership to shape strategic decisions, including business expansion, investments (including research and development), and potential mergers and acquisitions, while maintaining financial discipline across geographies.
Own and oversee international financial operations, including oversight of subsidiaries and global consolidation. Drive budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis across countries, channels, and product lines; ensure compliance with local and international financial, tax, and regulatory frameworks, including pharma-specific requirements. Oversee industrial cost control, capital expenditure investments, margin optimization, and manage global treasury, financing structures, and banking relationships.
Strengthen internal controls, risk management (ERM), and audit processes, while leading an ongoing transformation and evolution of the finance function. The role typically expects senior finance leadership experience at CFO/Finance Director level, strong expertise in controlling, reporting, treasury, and financial strategy, and familiarity with regulated sectors. A deep understanding of IFRS and international taxation, a track record of transformation and process improvement, fluent English, and the ability to operate both strategically and operationally in international, multi-entity environments are valued, along with continuous improvement mindset and strong ownership and accountability.
