The Finance Trustee role at our client is a hands-on position that requires a proactive individual to oversee the financial aspects of the organization. Working closely with key stakeholders such as the Foundation Chair, Gallery Director, and Head of Development & Engagement, the Finance Trustee will be responsible for preparing financial reports, managing creditor payments, overseeing cashflow, and liaising with fund managers and auditors. This role requires someone who is comfortable transitioning between governance and operational tasks and has a genuine passion for the arts.The Finance Trustee will play a crucial role in ensuring the Foundation's finances are in good order, acting as a mini-CFO and financial conscience for the organization. With six board meetings a year and responsibilities during audit season and end of financial year, the Finance Trustee will be the go-to person for all financial matters within the Foundation. This position is ideal for individuals who are dedicated to supporting the arts and are willing to roll up their sleeves to ensure the financial stability and success of our client.
