Take ownership of financial clarity, influence group strategy, and drive meaningful change as part of the client’s transformation. The role will support the CEO during a pivotal period by simplifying a complex group structure, strengthening financial control, and improving commercially focused decision-making across the business.
Key responsibilities include delivering accurate monthly reporting with clear variance analysis and reliable performance insight, maintaining end-to-end visibility of cash, working capital, and profitability across the group, and strengthening and embedding a robust financial control environment. You will lead the clean-up and simplification of intercompany balances and structures, introduce disciplined cost-control processes, and ensure transparent governance of external spend.
The successful candidate will bring proven senior financial leadership experience in SMEs or mid-sized, multi-entity organisations, with a demonstrated track record of improving financial clarity, control, and reporting accuracy. You should be hands-on and detail-focused while comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels, with strong judgement, integrity, and the ability to challenge constructively. A robust understanding of intercompany structures, restructuring, or carve-out environments is expected, alongside a calm, pragmatic, collaborative leadership style that earns trust with stakeholders.
