As Finance Director, you will be the primary finance leader for Europe, responsible for a multi-entity, multi-jurisdictional structure. You will serve as a true business partner by combining strong financial control with commercial leadership, and you will play a central role in integration and transformation. The work will focus on strengthening visibility, simplifying complexity introduced through growth, improving cost efficiency, and driving profitable growth across the region.
Your responsibilities will include leading financial control, reporting, and compliance across the entities, and driving post-acquisition integration such as legal entity restructuring and process simplification. You will own budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management, including a rolling 12-week cash model, while partnering with regional leadership to improve utilisation, project profitability, and resource deployment. You will also manage working capital, improve cash performance, and deliver cost reduction initiatives.
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with experience as a senior finance leader in a group-owned, multi-entity business. You should have experience in people IT-enabled or professional services environments, a strong understanding of project-based businesses (including utilisation and contracts), and a track record of leading integration, transformation, or restructuring initiatives. The role will require the ability to balance hands-on delivery with strategic influence across regions and stakeholders, along with collaborative, visible leadership that can operate effectively across different cultures and geographies.
