Lead the finance strategy for an ambitious organization with a strong Birmingham presence and national reach, supporting a pivotal phase of strategic and operational change. Reporting to the Managing Director and working closely with the Board, you will set and drive financial strategy, governance, and performance across the business.
You will lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to support medium- and long-term business objectives, and provide high-quality management reporting with insight and challenge to the Board and senior leadership. You will oversee financial controls, governance, and compliance to ensure robust processes and adherence to relevant regulatory requirements.
As a commercial partner to operational leaders, you will drive performance, margin improvement, and value creation. You will build, develop, and lead a high-performing finance team, embedding best practice and continuous improvement, and bring a strong commercial mindset and proven board-level influence to support critical business decisions.
