The client is seeking a Family Medicine Residency Program Director to lead their 54-year legacy program in a mission-driven and opposed environment. The successful candidate will mentor residents in diverse patient care, inter-departmental collaboration, and holistic medical education, offering experiences in global health, women's health, sports medicine, geriatrics, and POCUS. The client, a public, integrated healthcare system, includes a nationally recognized Level I Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center, a 484-bed academic medical center, outpatient and specialty centers, and primary and specialty care clinics throughout the county. They focus on providing outstanding care for all while improving health and wellness through teaching, patient education, and research.
The Program Director will have the opportunity to shape the next stage of growth for the Family Medicine program within the client's integrated system. They will work with a team of 23 faculty members and 2 APDs to mentor 11 diverse residents annually, preparing them to be culturally responsive providers for community care. The program emphasizes hands-on training in holistic and integrative medicine, sports medicine, and geriatrics, as well as offering experiences in global health, women's health, and POCUS.
