Description

The client is hiring an Executive Vice President of Marketing to drive enterprise-wide growth through a performance-driven, brand-aligned marketing strategy. This role will own demand generation, brand stewardship, and customer growth, with a central focus on integrating search marketing with content, performance media, lifecycle marketing, and brand efforts. The EVP is expected to combine technical search expertise, strategic executive leadership, and a presence that supports scaling efficient growth while protecting long-term brand equity.

Core responsibilities include setting and leading a holistic enterprise marketing vision that aligns business objectives, brand strategy, and revenue growth. The EVP will own global search strategy across technical SEO, content SEO, local SEO, paid search, and related search and discovery channels, ensuring keyword and intent strategy spans the customer journey. They will partner with Product, Engineering, and Content teams to embed search best practices into site architecture, UX, and platform decisions, and will lead budget allocation and optimization across paid and organic search to maximize ROI and incrementality.

The EVP will oversee performance and demand generation channels, including paid media and conversion optimization, and will promote a disciplined test-and-learn culture. They will ensure brand, content, and upper-funnel initiatives use search-driven insights to inform storytelling and campaign development, while maintaining messaging consistency. Additional responsibilities include leading lifecycle and CRM efforts using search and behavioral data to improve segmentation, retention, and reactivation; establishing executive dashboards and KPIs for search performance and marketing ROI; championing advanced analytics, experimentation, and forecasting; communicating insights and investment recommendations to top leadership; and building and scaling a senior marketing team while partnering cross-functionally and managing agency and platform relationships. Qualifications include extensive progressive marketing leadership experience with deep hands-on SEO and paid search expertise, demonstrated success scaling growth in complex high-traffic digital-first or omnichannel environments, and experience managing large performance budgets and senior leaders.
