The client is seeking an Executive Vice President to lead its Insurance Division and take full ownership of a premium business spanning renters, travel, damage protection, and adjacent insurance products across residential and short-term rental markets. This role oversees two core operating divisions, aligning their strategies under a unified vision while ensuring each continues to perform and scale within its distinct market focus. The EVP will lead integrated go-to-market execution across sales, marketing, and product; build a scalable revenue engine; optimize pricing and carrier partnerships; and guide product roadmap prioritization in collaboration with technology and customer advisory groups. The role also involves building and leading a high-performing leadership team and culture focused on accountability and execution, while ensuring strong regulatory compliance across all operations and fostering talent development and organizational alignment to growth objectives.
The EVP will drive operational excellence and digital transformation by building a scalable operating model across underwriting, service, and back-office functions, and by advancing AI and automation to improve performance and customer experience. Additional responsibilities include driving retention, expansion, and new channel growth through multiple distribution partners, strengthening onboarding and service delivery, and developing lifecycle-based insurance offerings to deepen policyholder relationships. Requirements include 10+ years of senior leadership experience in insurance with full P&L ownership and exposure to software or SaaS-enabled organizations, proven success scaling revenue and operations in a high-growth insurance environment (including managing general agency or MGA-like models), demonstrated cross-functional leadership, strong financial acumen, deep insurance regulatory and compliance knowledge in digitally enabled or embedded workflows, and experience operating in complex enterprise environments; a bachelor’s degree is expected, with a master’s degree or professional insurance designation typically preferred, and the ability to obtain appropriate licensure within 90 days of hire.
