The EVPAA/Dean position is a senior leadership role within the university, reporting directly to the President and serving on the executive cabinet. The individual in this role must hold a tenured full professor appointment in their academic field and is tasked with enhancing and growing academic programs while collaborating with faculty and stakeholders to create a cohesive learning environment. Responsibilities include overseeing four academic divisions, as well as various support services such as the library, writing center, career development, and study abroad programs.In addition to managing academic divisions and support services, the EVPAA/Dean is responsible for academic development, first-year experience programs, and ensuring the overall success of students within the university. This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to foster collaboration among diverse stakeholders, and a commitment to academic excellence.
