The client is seeking an Executive Vice President & System Chief Nursing Executive to lead nursing strategy and advance high-quality, mission-driven care across clinical settings. The role is expected to support innovative, multi-disciplinary models of care that strengthen nurse engagement, improve nursing outcomes, enhance patient satisfaction, and promote fiscally responsible care. The client operates at significant scale with a broad network of hospitals and care sites, including multiple ambulatory and specialty services, as well as a digital operating model intended to streamline workflows and improve communication across care teams.
Reporting to the client’s President and Chief Executive Officer and partnering with senior operational leadership, the System EVP/CNE will be a highly visible member of the executive leadership team. Core responsibilities include overseeing the comprehensive practice of nursing professional practice across all environments of clinical care; driving evidence-based nursing practice and outcomes throughout the institution; and leading the creation and implementation of a visionary strategic agenda for nursing that connects clinical practice, training and education, and innovation.
The Executive Vice President & System Chief Nursing Executive will also ensure integration of services and compliance with long-range objectives and strategies, including delivery of excellent quality services and responsible fiscal management.
