The client, Australian Naval Infrastructure (ANI), is seeking an Executive General Manager, Commercial to support the delivery of their nuclear-powered submarine construction yard project. The EGM, Commercial will work closely with the CEO and NPSCY Program Director to lead major transactions, establish contracts, and manage relationships with key stakeholders. This role is crucial for the success of the multi-billion dollar project and will contribute to the strategic leadership of ANI.
The ideal candidate for this position will have extensive senior leadership experience in infrastructure, contracting, or construction sectors. They must have a proven track record in managing commercial and procurement functions for complex mega projects, as well as strong negotiation skills and knowledge of legal frameworks. The EGM, Commercial should possess high emotional intelligence, superior interpersonal skills, and the ability to influence outcomes across diverse stakeholder groups.
Candidates for this role should have a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Law, Project Management, Engineering, or a related discipline, and potentially an MBA. Eligibility for an NV1 security clearance is required. The successful candidate will be collaborative, commercially astute, and able to work in an ambiguous and evolving environment.
