The client is dedicated to providing safe, compassionate, reliable, and cost-effective transportation that helps adults with disabilities, seniors, and others with unmet transportation needs access employment, programs, services, and opportunities to participate fully in their communities. The role supports an organization that delivers a high volume of one-way rides each day, with a substantial portion requiring lift-equipped vehicles, and that expands access through partnerships across its communities.
The client is seeking an Executive Director (ED) to build upon an established, operationally stable and financially sound foundation while helping shape the organization’s future. The next ED will succeed a long-time leader and guide the organization through a leadership transition with thoughtfulness, empathy, and respect for its culture and people, honoring its history while bringing fresh perspective to strengthen impact and respond to evolving transportation needs. The ED will provide strategic and organizational leadership in close collaboration with the board, staff, and community partners to advance a shared vision for the future.
As a key ambassador, the ED will represent The client throughout White Bear Lake and the surrounding communities by building relationships with community leaders, partner organizations, funders, and relevant government stakeholders, and by engaging a local advisory committee that helps inform evolving transportation needs and opportunities. The ED will lead with core values centered on safety, customer service, community contribution, efficiency, and innovation, and will support an accessible, responsive, and sustainable service model.
