The Executive Director role involves providing strategic and operational leadership to our client, working closely with the Board of Directors to advance the organization's mission of creating economic, social, and environmental conditions for communities to thrive. This position is responsible for overseeing the Foundation's overall direction, performance, partnerships, and organizational culture, ensuring that its work is community-led and aligned with key priorities. The Executive Director also manages philanthropic, social finance, granting, partnership, research, advocacy, and community investment activities, while maintaining strong relationships with Vancity, donors, community partners, staff, the Board, and affiliated stakeholders.The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in leadership roles, a strong understanding of community development, and a commitment to social and environmental justice. They should possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. The Executive Director will play a key role in shaping the Foundation's strategic direction and ensuring that its initiatives have a positive impact on the communities it serves.
