The Executive Director will be responsible for leading our client, a not-for-profit organization in a pivotal stage of development, reporting directly to the Board of Directors. They will have the opportunity to build organizational capacity by establishing core processes, developing and executing a strategic plan, and ensuring the organization is well-positioned to serve its members and stakeholders. Operating with a high degree of autonomy and accountability, the Executive Director will oversee all aspects of operations, including financial management, governance-aligned policies, and organizational infrastructure, to effectively and sustainably deploy resources in service of the organization's mission.As the primary ambassador for the organization, the Executive Director will cultivate strong relationships with members, partners, and the broader Internet exchange community both domestically and globally. They will be responsible for growing and supporting a diverse membership base, representing the organization across the industry, and maintaining sufficient technical understanding to engage credibly with stakeholders. Additionally, the Executive Director will lead organizational development efforts, including talent planning, building a high-performing team, and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and purpose-driven work within the organization.
