The client is seeking an Executive Director to lead and advance a mission-driven LGBTQ+ community organization. The role will provide strategic leadership to strengthen visibility, inclusion, and connection through advocacy, education, wellness initiatives, cultural programming, and community building, with the aim of helping LGBTQ+ individuals live openly and thrive without fear of discrimination.
As Executive Director, you will oversee year-round programs and services that support a large community audience, including navigation and stabilization services, affirming resources and referrals, counseling and recovery supports, employment and economic empowerment initiatives, and family-focused education and community-building opportunities. The position also includes leadership over community learning and identity enrichment programming, such as peer-directed affinity groups and social experiences, as well as personal wellness offerings that may include therapy groups and related support services.
The Executive Director will guide the organization’s community center operations, ensuring the center remains a welcoming space for LGBTQ+ individuals, families, allies, and partner organizations. The role will also support major annual public programming, including the organization’s Pride Festival and March, and will help sustain community partnerships and collaborations that expand access and belonging throughout the region.
