The Nuffield Foundation is seeking an Executive Director for Research, Grants and Programmes (RGP) to lead the future direction of research funding. This new leadership position will report to the Chief Executive and be responsible for developing and shaping the Foundation's research and grants portfolio to address key social and economic challenges. The ED will bring a strategic perspective to identify synergies, collaboration opportunities, and strategic grants to ensure impact and relevance.The ED, Research, Grants and Programmes will play a crucial role in meeting the Foundation's level of ambition and breadth of challenges outlined in the Strategic Review. They will be responsible for ensuring that the research and grants portfolio remains current, future-focused, and impactful in addressing the country's key social and economic challenges. The ideal candidate will have a strong strategic mindset, the ability to identify gaps and opportunities, and a commitment to driving positive change through research funding.
