Albury Wodonga Health (AWH) is seeking an Executive Director Quality, Governance & Patient Experience & Chief of Nursing & Midwifery to join their executive leadership team. This role will report to the Chief Executive Officer and provide strategic leadership in areas such as clinical governance, quality and safety, risk, infection prevention, patient experience, and nursing and midwifery workforce development. The successful candidate will lead the implementation of clinical capability frameworks, leadership pathways, and performance improvement for nurses and midwives.Working closely with the executive and operational teams, the Executive Director will drive contemporary models of care, enhance workforce capability, and establish a culture of clinical governance and accountability. They will be responsible for delivering measurable improvements in patient safety, experience, and outcomes, while supporting the organization through ongoing transformation in a complex cross-border operating environment. The ideal candidate will be a visible and influential leader who fosters a high-performance culture, champions nursing and midwifery leadership, and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to drive positive change.
