the client is a nonprofit community organization serving adults 50 and better in the Cove Communities of Palm Desert, Rancho Mirage, and Indian Wells. the center offers more than 50 weekly programs, many provided free of charge, designed to promote health, connection, and lifelong learning. the client is seeking an executive director to lead the organization’s mission-driven work and ensure its continued impact.
The executive director will report to the board of directors and provide visionary leadership and overall management. In partnership with the board, this role translates the mission into action by guiding programs, people, and resources to achieve meaningful outcomes. Key responsibilities include fund development, fiscal management, personnel management, strategic planning, board relations, policy implementation, communications, and supporting grant implementation.
The ideal candidate will bring demonstrated leadership capabilities and the ability to manage organizational strategy, operations, and stakeholder relationships. experience in fund development, fiscal and personnel management, and communications will be important, along with an understanding of how local, county, state, and federal funding sources may support nonprofit programming and initiatives. the role is expected to maintain confidentiality throughout the hiring process.
