The Executive Director of Admissions and Student Transition Programs reports to the Senior Vice Provost for Strategic Enrollment Management and Student Success and is responsible for leading our client's undergraduate enrollment strategy and ensuring a smooth transition for students from admission to matriculation. This role oversees three key areas within enrollment management - Admissions, High School Programs, and New Student Orientation and Transition Programs - and manages a team of over 100 staff members with a $5.3 million operating budget. The ideal candidate will be tasked with developing and implementing strategic admissions and recruitment initiatives that align with our client's enrollment goals and long-term institutional priorities, as well as providing leadership for the planning, development, and administration of the Office of Admissions, High School Programs, and Orientation and Transition Programs.The successful candidate will also be responsible for strengthening recruitment and outreach efforts to attract a diverse student body from Utah, across the United States, and internationally, as well as building and maintaining strong relationships with faculty, deans, university leadership, school counselors, and community organizations to support a robust student pipeline. Additionally, the Executive Director will be expected to leverage data, technology, and emerging tools to enhance recruitment strategies, inform decision-making, and improve operational efficiency across the enrollment lifecycle, while fostering a collaborative, transparent, and supportive environment for admissions and enrollment staff and aligning resources and organizational structure to support continued growth.
