CAPEN is looking for a Director General to lead the development, operation, and expansion of the Centre's activities. This role involves strategic planning, human and financial resource management, and representing the organization to advance its vision. The Director General will work closely with the Board of Directors and the management team to promote the French language and defend the rights of Francophone parents and children. They will oversee a team of approximately 18 people and ensure an environment of operational excellence and support for operators, educators, and families. Fundraising and developing relationships with government, private, and other funders are also key responsibilities of this role.The Director General will be responsible for representing the organization and the industry to stakeholders at all levels. They will advocate for the interests of Acadian and Francophone families and the Francophonie in minority situations. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in promoting the French language and ensuring the rights of Francophone parents and children are upheld. Additionally, the Director General will be tasked with developing successful relationships with government, private, and other funders to support the organization's activities. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a commitment to advancing the Centre's vision and mission.
