The client seeks a visionary, collaborative, and bilingual Executive Director to lead the next chapter of two aligned organizations focused on Latine community empowerment in North Carolina. the role will guide advocacy, cultural programming, and grassroots leadership development, building on a long-standing legacy of community impact and strong existing partnerships. the Executive Director will report to the Board of Directors and lead a team of directors and program staff.
the Executive Director will provide demonstrated nonprofit leadership across two entity structures, ideally including experience managing both 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) organizations, with the ability to navigate distinct operational, legal, and communications considerations. the role includes securing and growing philanthropic support by cultivating relationships with foundations, individual donors, and other funding partners, and developing and executing a comprehensive resource development strategy aligned with organizational goals. the Executive Director will also lead organizational development and change management by building internal systems, clarifying roles and structures, and promoting a culture of transparency and collaboration.
the position requires strategic financial and compliance acumen to manage a dual-entity budget with clarity and foresight, including budgeting, nonprofit financial management, and funder reporting, working closely with finance and operations staff and the board to support fiscal sustainability. familiarity and some experience in immigration policy is required, alongside a clear commitment to social justice, advocacy, and equity, applying policy knowledge to advance organizational goals. the role is full-time and based in North Carolina with a hybrid (remote and in-person) work environment, statewide travel, and opportunities to travel to regional and national convenings and events.
