The Executive Director will oversee all operations in the state of New York, providing strategic leadership in collaboration with the Regional Vice President. This role focuses on training and developing staff, engaging with community leaders, and ensuring program goals align with the client's mission of improving kidney health. The Executive Director will serve on the regional leadership team, collaborating with various departments to promote growth and mission achievement. An essential component of this role is fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion among constituents, staff, and volunteers. Qualified candidates should have demonstrated success in fundraising or sales, proven relationship management skills, and proficiency in virtual engagement.

This position requires the development and management of fundraising initiatives, including corporate, individual, and special event donor cultivation. The Executive Director will work with a portfolio of existing and potential donors, ensuring a robust stewardship plan is in place. In addition, the role demands collaboration with the staff team to enhance relationships with the board and volunteers, as well as to expand corporate partnerships. Adeptness in creating contingency plans and working within virtual settings is essential. Proficiency in using CRM systems like Salesforce for data management and reporting is required.

Additional responsibilities include supporting board development, engaging both the Upstate and Greater New York Boards of Advisors, and overseeing fiscal operations. The Executive Director is tasked with executing the market's operational plan, which entails budget and financial management, strategic corporate development, and program implementation. The role also involves partnering with health systems and community entities for programmatic and financial support. Furthermore, the Executive Director will lead market planning efforts, recruiting volunteers and organizations, and organizing events. Supervisory duties encompass guiding local market staff through coaching, training, and development, as well as managing recruitment processes.
