Achieve is seeking a dynamic, seasoned Executive Director to partner with the organization’s Founder and President to continue growing its reach and impact. The role will help advance a strategic plan focused on continued growth of its key education and enrichment programs, building visibility, and ensuring organizational sustainability through finalizing organizational structures. The Executive Director will lead the execution of the strategic plan in partnership with a passionate team and an engaged Board of Directors, overseeing key operational and fundraising functions while embodying the organization’s values and strengthening its culture.
The organization’s work includes programs designed to extend learning opportunities for students, teachers, and educators through initiatives such as weekend, summer, scholar, club, alumni, and music programming. A second major priority is the Teacher Accelerator Program, which aims to address teacher shortages by recruiting, training, and mentoring aspiring teachers to help ensure students have access to passionate, well-prepared educators. The Executive Director is expected to support programmatic excellence, guide decisions that enable sustainable growth, and help broaden community impact.
Core responsibilities include leading implementation of the strategic plan with the Founder, Board, and leadership team; ensuring ongoing excellence across programmatic and administrative functions through effective systems and structures; and providing leadership that promotes staff retention and supports managers in building strong teams. The role will also involve working with leadership to develop organizational budgets and financial plans, and supporting operational readiness and organizational effectiveness to sustain and grow the organization’s programs and impact.
