The client is seeking an Executive Director to lead the organization into its next chapter of impact across mid-Michigan. Based in Lansing, MI, the Executive Director will lead an organization with a strong history, a talented team, significant housing assets, and an established network of community and institutional partnerships. This role will focus on strengthening organizational and financial infrastructure, expanding visibility and influence, and identifying next-generation housing and community development opportunities.
For more than 30 years, The client has worked to strengthen neighborhoods and expand access to safe, quality, and affordable housing throughout mid-Michigan. The Executive Director will build on the organization’s foundation to advance priorities such as affordable housing, homeownership opportunities, and financial security, while supporting a multifaceted approach that may include housing development, education, financial counseling, emergency assistance, and community partnerships to address housing needs from multiple directions.
The ideal candidate will be a mission-driven leader energized by the opportunities and responsibilities of an evolving housing landscape. The Executive Director is expected to navigate change, strengthen and sustain partnerships, and help secure the resources necessary to support programs and growth. The role will require core leadership capabilities and an ability to broaden awareness of The client’s work throughout the communities served, while helping define the organization’s next chapter of housing access and community development.
