The Executive Director position at the Raikes School involves reporting directly to the Executive Vice Chancellor and Chief Academic Officer and serving as the chief administrative officer of the school. The Executive Director will work with various stakeholders to shape and execute the school's strategic direction, provide organizational leadership, cultivate philanthropic and corporate investment, and ensure the innovative educational model continues to thrive. Responsibilities include cultivating relationships, seeking collaborative opportunities, securing financial support, and ensuring the provision of an exceptional curriculum, faculty, and staff to support students. The Executive Director will also be responsible for attracting, recruiting, and retaining outstanding students from around the globe, elevating the school's national and international reputation, and collaborating closely with the Raikes School Advisory Board.The Executive Director will have overall responsibility for the school's success, overseeing a team of 10 faculty and 12 staff members across various areas including academic mission, operations, student success, industry and alumni engagement, and school finances. Direct reports include faculty members and Directors of key departments within the school. The Executive Director will also work closely with a Nebraska University Foundation development officer dedicated to the Raikes School and collaborate with the Deans of the College of Engineering and College of Business. The ideal candidate will be tasked with building on the school's momentum, strengthening partnerships, advancing philanthropy, elevating national visibility, and guiding strategic growth while preserving the distinctive culture and educational experience that have defined the Raikes School's success.
