The client is seeking an Executive Director for their Centers and Institutes at Florida A&M University (FAMU). This individual will be responsible for providing strategic oversight, operational management, and performance evaluation for all research centers and institutes at FAMU. Reporting to the provost and vice president for academic affairs, the Executive Director will work closely with division vice presidents, academic deans, faculty, research staff, and external partners to ensure alignment with FAMU's mission, meet ROI benchmarks, and comply with state and federal reporting requirements.
Key responsibilities of the Executive Director include overseeing center and institute leadership, coordinating strategic planning, reviewing financial and operational reports, and providing data-driven recommendations to enhance research productivity and funding sustainability. The individual in this role will also be responsible for preparing and submitting reports for the Florida Board of Governors (BOG) to demonstrate FAMU's research impact and alignment with state priorities. The successful candidate will be a strategic, data-driven, and financially savvy leader who can ensure the long-term success of the client's center and institute enterprises.
