The client is seeking an Executive Director to serve as the organization’s most senior executive and lead its strategy, finances, and future direction. The Executive Director will work closely with two boards to guide long-term priorities while overseeing day-to-day operations, with an emphasis on strong programming, healthy finances, a thriving campus, and sustained community connection.
The Executive Director will lead a management team responsible for finance and operations, development, programming and production, and marketing, sales, and patron services. The role will include representing The client with donors, government partners, and the wider community, and will require comfort balancing detailed budget work with public-facing communication and leadership, including engaging with community and civic stakeholders.
The client is also entering an important transition period, with interim leadership supporting both boards and staff to establish priorities and implement organizational changes. The incoming permanent Executive Director is expected to affirm and build on these changes, bringing clarity and confidence to a growing, evolving organization while honoring what makes the organization special, including its volunteer engagement, arts education, and community traditions.
