The Align Foundation is looking for an experienced and strategic leader to serve as its first Executive Director. This individual will work closely with the Executive Leadership Team to shape strategy, align resources, drive science forward, and ensure the organization's long-term sustainability. The Executive Director will also be responsible for advocating for the Foundation to external audiences, developing funding models, and building relationships with donors and collaborators to support growth and impact. They must be able to balance bold vision with disciplined execution, cultivate goodwill, and foster collaborations that sustain and grow the Foundation's mission.As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, the Executive Director will collaborate with the Board, Head of Data, Head of Science, and Chief of Staff to lead with a shared responsibility for mission delivery, talent, culture, and long-term sustainability. They will play a central role in ensuring financial sustainability and long-term growth, developing creative funding models, and sustaining momentum through traditional philanthropy and innovative funding sources. The Executive Director must have a collaborative spirit, strong partnership orientation, and the ability to build organizational capacity, optimize operations, and support the Foundation's continued growth and impact.
