The Executive Director will oversee the development and implementation of strategic plans and initiatives to enhance the co-operative education program and career services at UVic. They will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure alignment with institutional goals and objectives, including recruitment, retention, and student success. The Executive Director will provide leadership in fostering partnerships with employers, community organizations, and other educational institutions to create meaningful experiential learning opportunities for students.Additionally, the Executive Director will be responsible for managing a team of professionals and support staff to deliver high-quality co-operative education and career services to students. They will also be tasked with developing and maintaining strong relationships with industry partners to facilitate student placements and enhance career development opportunities. The Executive Director will play a key role in promoting the value of work-integrated learning and career services to students, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders, ultimately contributing to the overall success of UVic's academic programs.
