The PASCAL Executive Director is responsible for leading and implementing strategic initiatives to support timely and universal access to information resources and library services for all member institutions of higher learning in South Carolina. This includes utilizing technology, central licensing, and collaborative efforts to create a highly productive knowledge environment for students, faculty, and staff. The Executive Director will work on fostering collaborative initiatives in shared technology, content licensing, resource sharing, collection management, training, and affordable learning to enhance the overall academic experience.Reporting to the Executive Committee or Board Chair, the Executive Director operates within the operational environment of the South Carolina Commission on Higher Education, serving as the consortium's fiscal agent. The role involves providing operational leadership and guidance to ensure the successful implementation of PASCAL's mission and goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in library services, technology, and collaboration, with the ability to drive innovative solutions to support the academic community in South Carolina.
