The Executive Director will champion the institution’s commitment to expanding knowledge and advancing justice through its dedicated community of researchers, staff, and partners.
Reporting to the board, the Executive Director ensures that research, operations, communications, and development strategies align to sustain and grow the organization’s impact and visibility. The role serves as an intellectual leader, facilitating research and mentoring junior research faculty, while also functioning as an effective external representative who strengthens resources and capacities. The Executive Director upholds the highest standards of integrity, independence, and scholarly rigor, and articulates the practical applications and outcomes of the organization’s research to relevant stakeholders, while promoting a culture of inclusivity, teamwork, and respect across faculty, staff, and board engagement.
The position is an attentive administrative leadership role and a liaison among researchers, staff, and the board.
