The Executive Director (ED) of Greenwoods Eldercare Society (GES) reports directly to the Board of Directors and is responsible for overseeing the organization's overall leadership, strategic direction, operational performance, and long-term sustainability. This role involves providing leadership in various areas such as strategic planning, financial stewardship, governance support, stakeholder relations, community engagement, fund development, and regulatory compliance. The ED ensures that programs and services are delivered in alignment with relevant legislation, accreditation standards, funding agreements, and organizational values, while promoting a culture of compassion, dignity, accountability, collaboration, and excellence in care.The ED plays a crucial role in leading and managing all aspects of GES, including operations, people leadership, and government relations. They are responsible for ensuring the organization's success by developing and implementing effective strategies, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations. The ED is also tasked with driving innovation, promoting a positive work environment, and continuously seeking opportunities for growth and improvement within the organization to enhance the quality of care provided to elderly individuals.
