Our client NB Power is looking for an Executive Director, Audit, Risk & Compliance to lead the assurance, risk management, and compliance functions within the organization. Reporting to the President & CEO and the Audit & Finance Committee of the Board, this role will be responsible for enhancing governance, internal controls, and risk oversight across NB Power. The Executive Director will integrate Internal Audit, Enterprise Risk Management, and Regulatory & Corporate Compliance to develop and execute a risk-based internal audit plan, oversee the enterprise risk management framework, and provide executive oversight of regulatory compliance activities.The successful candidate will work closely with the Board and Executive Leadership Team to provide trusted insight, independent challenge, and strategic advice to support sound decision-making and effective governance. The Executive Director will play a key role in driving the transformation of the electricity sector by ensuring compliance with NB Power's Reliability Standards Compliance Program. This position requires a strategic and experienced leader who can lead with independence and integrity to strengthen NB Power's assurance, risk management, and compliance functions.
