the client is a nonprofit community farm in Weston, Massachusetts, dedicated to connecting people to the land to build community and inspire lifelong stewardship. The farm operates diversified, mission-driven programs across sustainable agriculture and food production, hunger relief, education, community engagement and events, and forestry and maple operations. Its work includes year-round farmstand operations and regional partnerships that help ensure donated food reaches families across Greater Boston and MetroWest.

Following a successful multi-million-dollar capital campaign that delivered expanded and improved facilities and operations, the client is seeking an Executive Director to guide the organization through its next chapter. The Executive Director will develop and execute a strategic vision in close collaboration with the Board and senior team; deepen the organization’s reach, strength its financial foundation, and support long-term sustainability. Core responsibilities include leading fundraising to grow and diversify support; ensuring financial and operational health through budgeting and fiscal stewardship; and providing leadership to develop, inspire, and mentor staff across functional areas.

The Executive Director will also partner with the Board to support effective governance and strategic leadership, preparing planning materials and engaging board members as ambassadors and fundraisers, and will serve as a visible ambassador and community connector by building relationships with key regional partners. The role calls for a mission-driven nonprofit leader who is energized by land, food, and community impact, with demonstrated senior leadership experience, including leading teams and managing complex, multi-program operations. The client will prioritize candidates with a record of collaborative leadership, strong people management, transparency and accountability, and the ability to communicate the organization’s story and impact effectively.
